Senior Marketing Manager - West Midlands

£60-70,000 basic + excellent benefits - IT Software and Services - Marketing

Our client, a dynamic and innovative Software company that provides sophisticated and user-friendly solutions that deliver and exceed customer expectations, is seeking a Senior Marketing Manager, working from home or from one of their offices, as part of their ongoing expansion plans.

As Senior Marketing Manager, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the company's marketing strategy. You will be responsible for an overall brand review, creating brand awareness, systems implementation, website overhaul, for developing and executing comprehensive marketing campaigns, lead generation, and driving prospect engagement. Your primary goal will be to increase market share, revenue, and profitability.

You will ideally come from a background of complex enterprise software sales, experience of ZoomInfo and HubSpot an advantage.

Key Responsibilities:                 

  1. Strategic Planning: Develop and execute a comprehensive marketing strategy aligned with the company's goals and objectives.
  2. Team Leadership: Work with the Sales Team fostering a culture of creativity, collaboration, and high performance.
  3. Campaign Management & Lead Generation: Use ZoomInfo and HubSpot – Work with the sales team and BDM to plan, execute, and optimize integrated marketing campaigns across multiple channels including, email, digital, social media, events, and traditional marketing.
  4. Analytics and Reporting: Track and analyse key performance metrics, providing regular reports and insights to senior management.
  5. Content Strategy & Generation: Collaborate with the delivery teams, Product Development Teams, and Senior Management etc. to create engaging and relevant content for various marketing channels. Video Testimonials, POD Casts etc. 
  6. Partnerships and Collaborations: Identify and establish partnerships with industry influencers, organizations, and relevant stakeholders to expand brand reach and credibility.
  7. Brand Management: Oversee brand development, ensuring consistent messaging and brand identity across all marketing materials.
  8. Market Research: Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and threats, and adjust marketing strategies accordingly.
  9. Event & Exhibition Participation: Review industry events and exhibitions, decide on relevance, and execute around selected events.
  10. Budget Management: Manage the marketing budget effectively, ensuring maximum ROI and cost-efficiency in all marketing activities.
  11. External Vendor Selection: Identifying, selecting, and working with appropriate third-party vendors to assist with the above process.

 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Business, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in marketing leadership roles with at least 5+ years in a similar role.
  • Strong understanding of current marketing trends and best practices.
  • The ideal candidate would have experience working in a B2B environment.
  • A candidate from a Software Company an advantage.
  • Proficiency in marketing automation tools, analytics software, and CRM systems
  • Experience with ZoomInfo, HubSpot an advantage.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage budgets and achieve measurable results.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
  • A proven self driven and motivate individual is essential.
  • Ability work as part of a small team.
