Internal Sales - Dudley

We are seeking an Internal Sales person for a long established & profitable business specialising in laser cutting and folding of various non-ferrous sheet metals. This is a newly created role, reporting into, and supporting the sales activities of, the company's Business Development Manager. This is an office-based role near Dudley, West Midlands.

Specific Duties include:

• Managing existing client relationships and developing new ones.
• Working with internal departments regarding quotes, deliveries and any customer queries to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Actioning emails and allocating leads accordingly and communicating updates to the Business Development Manager (BDM) and appropriate departments
• Supporting the BDM with day-to-day tasks, making external appointments with existing and/or new customers.
• Identifying new market sectors with market research
• Ensuring that all customers are given the highest level of customer service.
• Identifying opportunities for growth & new business.
• Entering and maintaining data on the CRM system.
• Chasing quotations to secure orders

The successful candidate:

• Previous experience in steel/engineering would be an advantage.
• Internal Sales/Customer Service experience is essential.
• Self-starter and motivated individual.
• Good numeracy and literacy skills.
• Excellent communication skills/relationship building.
• Flexible approach to duties and tasks.
• Team player.
• Office based.
• Organised individual.
• Driven induvial who wants to develop their career in internal sales.

On offer for this Internal Sales role is an excellent commencing basic salary in the region of £30,000 plus benefits.
