My client is a leading manufacturer and distributor in the FMCD sector - they are seeking an experienced B2C Digital Marketing Manager to launch a new website and help take it forward in 2020. They currently only supply via retailers and this is a new initiative to engage more with their consumer audience and provide a new online e-commerce website which is currently being developed. This is an exciting opportunity to be there from the beginning and help make your mark on the company. 

This is a fantastic opportunity to shape, form and own their digital consumer marketing, bringing to life multiple strong brands which just need an additional platform in order to flourish. Working closely with the brand management team, marketing managers, designers and ecommerce sales team, you will contribute to the development of the ecommerce and marketing strategy, providing tactical and creative omnichannel solutions. This role must be able to work harmoniously within the existing sales structures and responsible for developing an effective affiliate programme.      

This requires an individual with exceptional drive who thrives on getting a job done despite any obstacles that may occur along the way. You must be a starter finisher, have outstanding attention to detail and work on the basis that excellence is the only option. Creativity and commercial acumen motivates all you do. 

Duties to include :

  • Creation and implementation of the digital marketing strategy
  • Direct responsibility for the B2C website and social media content
  • Developing and supporting omnichannel campaigns
  • Creating and overseeing third-party eCommerce branded content including for international markets
  • Optimise web content and online conversion
  • Overseeing the PPC and SEO strategy from both a tactical and implementation perspective
  • Develop the social media and e-marketing strategy including implementation of both organic and paid
  • Set clear KPI’s and targets in order to maximise traffic, conversion and engagement
  • Developing processes and best practise guidelines to ensure the role integrates with the wider business strategy and creates a platform for growth and development 
  • Lead generation
  • Keeping abreast of the latest digital trends and opportunities and drive application
  • Establishing, supporting and developing the affiliate programme
  • Ensure the website is customer-driven in every sense and all activity builds the brand and customer relationship across all channels

To be considered for this role :

  • Must have demonstrable experience in a digital-focused marketing role for a B2C business
  • An experienced all-round digital marketer with essential skills in SEO, CRM, re-targeting, email marketing, influencer engagement, social content, paid advertising, CRM, analytics, affiliate programmes
  • Experience of having launched and scaled a B2C website
  • Experience of working with Amazon Brand Store
  • Be a self-starter, able to work autonomously
  • Highly ambitious to develop this role in an innovative and entrepreneurial manner
  • Rigorous analytical skills with ability to develop strategies, tactics and measurable implementation plans
  • Interpersonal skills that demonstrate building strong working relationships and motivating people and teams that are cross-functional and multi-level
  • An ability to juggle multiple projects on an on-going basis and meet deadlines through efficient organisational skills
  • Enthusiasm and a pro-active work ethic with the personality to enjoy working in a dynamic and fast paced environment
