Commercial Manager - Greater Manchester

A well established & successful family manufacturing business requires a Commercial Manager to develop and grow their Manchester operation. 

Reporting directly to the company owner, candidates will have a sound technical and commercial background and will have operated successfully within a fast moving customer focused environment. 

Candidates for this Commercial Manager role should ideally meet the following criteria:

• Degree or equivalent engineering qualification combined with commercial and managerial experience
• Experience of modern manufacturing including Production, Planning, Health & Safety, Quality and Logistics.
• Experience of managing staff including day to day HR issues e.g. recruitment, setting key performance indicators, training & development.
• Highly customer focussed, with the ability and objective to exceed customer expectations
• Self motivated, enthusiastic, reliable, organised and hard working
• Computer literate
• Excellent communication skills
• Team player with a good sense of humour
• Loyal - this is exceptionally important to the company owner and will be reciprocated.

On offer for this Commercial Manager role is a very competitive annual salary in the region of £55-60,000 plus excellent benefits including a 10% non-contributory pension scheme.
