Training Sales & Administration Consultant
£21-£25,000 basic salary + commission
Our well established client, based Bromsgrove, is seeking a Sales Consultant to sell their range of training and related services to existing clients/prospects and to co-ordinate the service delivery of the training ensuring it is completed on-time and to the required standard.
Duties will include:
Business Development/Account Management
Achieve sales targets agreed with the Head of Sales
Process inbound sales enquiries and convert to order, seeking up-sell and cross-sell opportunities
Undertake business development activity including prospecting /cold calling by telephone
Contact those customers that have renewals or refresher training due and sell appropriate courses
Contact lapsed customers and ‘closed lost’ contacts to re-engage
Generate sales/new business appointments for members of the sales and account management team and attend such meetings if requested to do so
Maintain good customer relationship by regular contact by telephone and email
Course Administration
Assign appropriate trainer to deliver course
Liaise with trainer and customer regarding venue, facilities & requirements and issue confirmation of course arrangements
Assist with preparing course materials and trainer pack where necessary
Update course materials and presentations if requested to do so by the Head of Health & Safety
Liaise with relevant parties to ensure customer service is provided in accordance with their individual SLA’s
Review customer feedback forms, take any corrective actions and escalate to Head of Sales if necessary
Assist with post course admin where necessary
General/Other
Approve trainer invoices prior to payment
Attend sales meetings and present KPI’s on own performance along with a pipeline report
Ensure agreed procedures are adhered to
Maintain accurate records and update all systems appropriately, in particular CRM
Any other reasonable task as requested from time to time
To be considered for this role:
Minimum 2 years sales & admin experience
Excellent communication skills both written and oral

On offer:
Basic salary between £21-£25,000, subject to experience, plus commission. Our client offers a positive working environment. Hours of business are Monday - Friday 8.30 - 5pm. 23 days holiday initial which increases after length of service.
