Working as part of the software implementation team the Project Co-Ordinator will support the day-to-day operations of various projects. This is a hybrid role with benefits that include: private medical, pension and cash benefit plan.

Project Co-Ordinator duties will include:

  • To provide daily support on all aspects of project delivery from the immediate post-sales to the hand over to project support
  • To assist in the development of the project plan and scheduling the appropriate resource
  • To ensure Service Agendas are issued, review the associated Service Report and liaise with the consultant to schedule any follow-up actions.  Liaise with the accounts/admin department in dealing with any queries relating to the invoicing and ordering of the chargeable day
  • Reconcile the days recorded in the CRM system with the accounting system and project plan. Use this information to provide an initial draft of the Project Highlight Report for the Project Manager to complete and issue to the customer
  • To review and update the issues and action log daily ensuring tasks are progressed in a timely manner and the relevant resource is scheduled. This will also require regular interaction with both Consultants and customers
  • Provide support to the Operations Manager and Project Manager in answering any questions that may arise relating to the project, working with the project team to resolve issues
  • Report on the progress of projects internally and externally through weekly meetings, periodic updates, and ad-hoc requests from customers and internal project stakeholders
  • Must ensure all business systems are updated and project methodology is adhered to, with the completion of project documentation being paramount
  • To focus on ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget by following company project methodology.

Project Co-Ordinator requirements:

  • Solid understanding of Project Management methodology. Prince2 Foundation and/or Practitioner desirable
  • Ideally worked previously in the software industry.
  • A clear communicator, both written and verbal. With a natural ability to generate credibility at the Board level and throughout the organization
  • Microsoft Word, Excel, Powerpoint, and Project
  • Focus on delivery and commercial awareness
  • Attention to detail

Project Co-Ordinator role evolution: As the individual develops within the role there will be an opportunity to deliver chargeable project management activity, for which performance will be rewarded against a bonus structure. Longer-term the expectation is that the individual will develop into a full Project Manager, with an increased remuneration package.
