Packaging Designer & Technologist

Birmingham - £27,540 - 2 year FTC

Working with the marketing, creative and product teams you will have varied duties to include: design, development, specifying and designing cutting forms, external and transit packaging. 

• Create packaging specifications and samples for all new product launches and redevelop current packaging to conform with Amazon packaging (SIOC & FPP), retail and eco requirements
• Work with suppliers for packaging improvements
• Manage technical aspects working to a critical path
• Improve existing packaging technologies

To be considered for this role:

• You need to be able to commit to a 2 year FTC
• Experience of designing, testing and approving packaging
• Experience of working with retailers to design and specify packaging requirements
• Good understanding of technical drawing
• Ideally, you will have a degree in packaging technology or design, or proven knowledge and experience in packaging management, creation and design

Monday - Friday 8 am - 4 pm, 25 days holiday + 8 bank, 4% pension matched, 3 x life cover, staff discount after 3 months and the opportunity to work as part of a fast-paced team in fantastic offices.
