Office & Event Co-ordinator

£21,000 Birmingham City Centre FTC 12 months

Working with the events and office-space leasing sales team, taking enquiries regarding the events space and providing administrative support for the events sales team.

Meet and greet all customers who are interested in office space, and ensuring all requirements are met, helping to ensure that repeat business is guaranteed. 

Duties will include:

  • Receive and process incoming telephone enquiries booking events spaces
  • Input enquiries and raise quotes for events spaces and confirm booking details
  • Conduct show rounds for clients and prospective clients
  • Provide general admin support for the Events Team
  • Meet and greet all clients on their arrival to the leased office space
  • Arrange access passes
  • Carry out client inductions upon their arrival to the leased office space
  • Keep the reception area tidy and presentable
  • Provide secretarial service for clients as requested - which could include typing letters, reports or photocopying
  • Answer and forward calls to clients
  • Arrange car parking 
  • Book meeting rooms and arrange lunch

To be considered for this role:

  • Available to start a 12-month fixed term contract
  • Recent experience in a customer facing role - ideally as a receptionist or secretary
  • Experience of meeting and greeting customers in a warm and friendly manner
  • Clerical duties
  • MS Office skills
  • Superb communication skills
  • Works well under pressure and multitasking

This is a 12-month fixed term contract, where you will be part of a very busy team with an array of tasks, it's very important that you are professionally presented and have a confident, positive approach with first class communications skills.
