Our client is a successful software company offering direct supply, installation and support of Data Protection and Recovery solutions to large SME, Corporate and Public Sector accounts. Recent years have seen successful entry into new markets, with exciting new product offerings.
They are currently looking for a proven M365 EM+S Technical Specialist/Consultant to work alongside other team members. You will be part of a team providing IT services to a prestigious event, namely the 2022 Birmingham Commonwealth Games. This is a fixed term contract to completion of the Games in Augist 2022.
You will help to deliver the IT solutions and be the go-to technical resource for M365. This is a fixed term engagement to August 2022, working alongside an existing M365 Consultant. You need to be an experienced M365 Technical Specialist used to working at a senior level to help implement a modern workplace using M365. You should be able to work in an innovate way to ensure best value to meet the key requirements. You will work with the team to execute the programme strategy.
There will be a strong emphasis on Device Management and Security so specific experience in these disciplines is an advantage.
The successful candidate must undergo security clearance unless already attained.
Skills & Experience
Experienced Transformation Leader and Technical Architect
Experience of implementing customised solutions to complex business challenges
3 + years’ experience in M365
Flexible and collaborative approach to thinking, implementing solutions and solving problems
Microsoft Certification (MCP/MCSE)
ITIL Foundation
Great communication skills
Able to work largely independently and knows when to escalate
Able to regularly communicate with customers, suppliers and third parties
Can plan, schedule and monitor own work, with capability to supervise others
Has an analytical and systemic approach to resolve complex issues
Knowledge of relevant legislation, standards and procedures
Responsibilities
Supports the Senior Solution Architect to design, plan and support all technical elements. This will be primarily across Microsoft SaaS O365 and modern workplace technologies and cloud-based applications as well as interfacing with Telecoms suppliers and all elements of the Target Operating Model
Keeping abreast of all O365/Microsoft Technology changes
Detailed technical knowledge across O365, cloud-based applications and all elements of the Target Operating Model
