Junior Developer (.NET, C#, SQL Server)
Our client is looking for a talented Junior Developer with .NET, C# and SQL Server programming experience to join their team. This is an entry-level post with excellent opportunity for skills and knowledge development and so we’re looking for you to be passionate about programming.
As Junior Developer you’ll join an existing IT team in developing current software and working on new projects from the ground up. Whilst focus may vary depending on needs, typically you’ll have your own selection of projects to work on, as well as contributing to on-going fixes and enhancements in existing software.
Your excellent interpersonal skills will be essential to your success in this role as our client has a tight knit team, and you’ll be dealing directly with clients, providing support or information as required.
No previous commercial programming experience is necessary for this role but you’ll be able to exhibit your programming skills through a relevant degree qualification (or similar) and evidence of development for personal projects, freelancing or helping out friends and family.
Suitable applicants will have experience of at least three of the following technical areas:
Microsoft .NET to version 3.0 - 4.5.1
Microsoft C#
Windows Presentation Foundation (WPF)
ASP.NET MVC
T-SQL, especially Stored Procedures
Database design
JavaScript
Any experience of Server Administration (Windows Server 2008 R2, Server 2012, SQL Server 2008 R2) or Graphic design is not essential but would be of particular interest
