Internal Sales Executive  

 

 

Working for an industry leading manufacturer and distributor, they are now seeking an experienced Internal Sales Executive to work in a friendly professional team to achieve set goals.

 

The Role

 

Reporting to the Head of Sales, you will be responsible for selling through proactive outbound sales calls to create appointments for the field sales team and promoting appropriate service contracts

 

This is a key role in the business as you will establish and maintain links between customers, sales, marketing, production and customer service. 

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Review online construction databases and renovations portals to ascertain new and viable sales opportunities
  • Cold calling new and existing clients to sell the business and arrange face to face meetings for the sales team
  • Processing sales orders, quotations, making new customer appointments and selling service contracts
  • Roll out sales campaigns as part of a sales team
  • Contacting existing clients to sell the benefits of service plans and ensure customer retention
  • Producing and following up sales quotes to resolve issues or challenges that might arise
  • Monitoring regular orders to ensure stock availability and delivery times are met
  • Working with the field sales team to bid for new tenders and win
  • Updating the database (Salesforce) to provide information used by the sales manager to produce accurate forecasting reports
  • Attending Exhibitions to create a need through face to face interaction
  • Following up on Web leads
  • Running off reports from the CRM system to create leads to follow up

 

The Candidate

  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience of internal sales and customer services within a B2B environment
  • A confident self-starter, able to spot new areas of opportunity, and expand upon them accordingly
  • Must have experience interacting with field based sales teams )assisting in booking face to face sales meetings, providing sales support, helping to put together quotes, ensuring orders are fulfilled on time
  • You will be a competent I.T user (Salesforce or associated CRM system)
  • Customer service champion
  • Energetic, enthusiastic and seeking an internal sales role within a fast paced environment

 

 

A salary of up to £27k dependant on experience + commission upon completion of probation
