Insurance & Estate Planning Advisor
£20,000 basic (rising to £27,000) + £3,600 car allowance and realistic OTE of £35-£50,000 + laptop
Our client, a leading provider of Insurance & Estate planning solutions, are seeking 2 further Advisors to join their 16 strong team based in Penkridge, Staffordshire
The Role
The role will be split between the office and your home as meetings are currently taking place over video calls. However once we are able to, appointments may go back to being face to face in client homes.
You will host meetings and provide advice about Wills, life insurance and legal services (training provided). All client meetings will be booked for you. There is no cold calling, however you will be required to contribute by spending time each week calling leads who have expressed an interest in the service, to explain the service and book appointments.
All clients will be expecting to see you and to talk about the services that our client offers. This makes this position unique to most sales/advisory roles and as a result the team has an average 80% conversion rate.
This is a full-time, Monday to Friday role, which, by its very nature will involve some evening work (for example, appointments up to 7.30pm to fit in with client availability).
Requirements
The key to your success in this role will be knowledge, preparation and pride in providing the very best advice. As this is a regulated industry, being organised and meticulous when keeping records is vital.
To be successful in this role you will need to be extremely hard working, driven, professional, motivated, enthusiastic and charismatic. It is essential that you become a trusted adviser to your clients and maintain relationships well.
Experience
A financial services background is not essential; however you do need a passion and hunger for learning and providing professional advice face to face with your clients. Sales experience is not essential, but preferred.
Training
Comprehensive in-house training is provided (approximately 2 months initially). Ongoing support and training from the team and management will be available. The training is intense and challenging and those that apply must be focused and determined to succeed. You have the potential to become Level 4 qualified.
Package
On offer is a commencing basic salary of £20,000 (rising to £27,000) + £3,600 car allowance and realistic OTE of £35-50,000 + laptop
