To £25,000 basic + benefits

Our well-established client, based Bromsgrove, is seeking a HR Advisor to join their team as part of their continued growth.

The main duties of the role are to provide comprehensive HR advice, training, support, and guidance to employers in different businesses and industries via telephone, e-mail and face to face.

This is a varied, generalist HR role, and involves the preparation of contracts, handbooks, and other HR documentation. Furthermore the role supports the growth of the HR division by being involved in marketing activities.


Previous HR generalist advisory experience, preferably in a consultancy capacity;
Good, up to date, working knowledge of HR policies, procedures, legislation and best practice.
Experience of interpreting, advising and implementing HR policies and procedures.
Experience of providing complex employee relations and legal advice and support to managers on staff matters.
Understanding and practical application of the use of IT and electronic communications, including the use of Microsoft Office.
A proven ability to produce a high standard of report writing and minute taking.
Ability to research, analyse and reason logically and effectively within tight and conflicting timeframes.
A commitment to provide a high standard of customer service.
Previous experience in professional services industry desirable.
Experience of assisting with monthly payroll process.
Commercial acumen and confidence to promote HR and Group services as appropriate
Personable and adaptable to various organisation types and sectors. Included those that are highly regulated, charitable organisations, and private limited organisations
Ability to communicate effectively with people both verbal and written at all levels; to include having difficult conversations.
Ability to work on own initiative and work as part of a team.
Ability to work under pressure and handle changing priorities.
Flexible and ‘Can Do’ attitude to work arrangements.
Attention to detail essential.
Must be well organised, disciplined and able to prioritise workload.
Confident dealing with people in sometimes stressful/ difficult situations
Commitment to Continuous Professional Development.
Educated to GCSE level or equivalent, with a CIPD qualification level 5 or equivalent and a willingness to work towards further professional qualifications.
