ERP Implementation Project Manager
Fantastic opportunity to join a market leading distribution business as ERP Implementation Project Manager.
Purpose of the Role:
To manage the implementation of the selected ERP software across the business.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Work with senior stakeholders to develop a clear project scope
- Develop, maintain and manage a detailed ERP implementation project plan including timeline and risk log
- Vendor management to ensure efficient and effective service delivery, act as the primary point of contact for external vendors and other third parties
- Mapping of business processes and ensure that these are translated into ERP flows, ensure that UAT is conducted, and all critical business processes are successfully transited to ERP
- Proactively identify and manage project risks and issues, escalating to senior management as appropriate
- Produce change impact assessments and associated implementation plans to ensure change is embedded to the business
- General project management training and support across the business
Person Specification
- Qualified project management practitioner or equivalent practical experience
- Proven ability to deliver projects in an agile and adaptive way, to time, quality, and cost
- Ability to work at pace and deliver several priorities simultaneously to achieve set deadlines
- Experience of identifying and managing risk
- Demonstrable experience of ERP systems ideally in an industrial distribution company
- Experience of identifying business benefits and producing benefits realisation plans
- Ability to rapidly create and sustain effective working relationships
- Ability to work with and through people, either indirectly or as part of a team, to deliver collaborative outcomes
- Experience of managing system change across multiple business units and being able to contribute to technical and/or business process discussions
- Highly effective written and verbal communication skills
