Digital Marketing Manager

£35-40,000 basic + bonus

Hybrid role – 2 days office; 3 days working from home (WFH)

We’re looking for a Digital Marketing Manager specifically to improve our client’s website user experience and increase online sales.

This is an exciting new role playing an integral part in further developing the company’s e-commerce offering, developing their online digital strategy and producing a seamless customer experience.

Key Duties:

Optimizing the company’s online performance through the measurement, analysis and improvement of web traffic and conversions from all acquisition sources.

Recommend, implement and measure changes in website design, layout, function, architecture and content in order to drive increased value from digital marketing spend across PPC, paid social and SEO. 

Analyse & challenge online customer journeys and ensure best practise is followed for a simple user experience and barrier-free online purchasing/enquiry capture

Event tracking in order to ensure the correct analysis of key events within Google Analytics

Generate key reports to share amongst Senior Management including key statistics for web traffic, conversions and trends across all acquisition sources and areas of the business.

Gather insights from agencies and other key suppliers

Management of online campaigns

Liaising with Head of Marketing to challenge outside agencies and suppliers to optimize online campaigns to strive for best value in achieving short, medium and long term goals.

Deliver and support the creation of strategy for improvement of the website and customer online journey.

Management of SEO agency and suppliers in relation to Search Engine Optimisation, Web Development, Digital Marketing Effectiveness as well as other key areas.

Experience:

Minimum of 5 years online / e-commerce marketing background, ideally some of which should have been gained within a retail environment.

Advanced MS Office including Excel, Word and Outlook. 

Thorough understanding of Google Analytics is essential and Google Data Studio preferable. 

 

A very attractive basic salary, up to £40,000, + excellent benefits package, including 5% bonus is available for this Digital Marketing Manager role.
