Data Analyst
We are seeking a talented & ambitious Data Analyst responsible for gathering, managing and analysing relevant product data. This individual will use data to develop and implement new strategies and reporting analytics. They will also make recommendations to the relevant business managers, so they can make informed decisions that positively impact the organisation.
This role would also suit a graduate with excellent Excel skills.
Key Duties:
Working with the relevant product manager(s) to identify a list of strategic, preferred and alternative suppliers where product data and pricing is to be held in the business system(s)
Analysing and interpreting complex data sets and presenting them successfully to management
Collecting supplier data and strengthening relationships with strategic suppliers
Manipulating data according to the company data standards
Enriching and categorising product content on internal systems (images, data sheets, etc.)
Managing supplier Pricing Groups, Price Types and pricing rules
Working with the Data Team by providing data in loadable formats
Supporting the Data Team with the appropriate product knowledge
Monitoring data quality and product life cycle (create / update / delete)
Cleansing data and correcting any data errors within the systems
Validating and approving new product content branch requests
Supporting any ongoing and future data related projects
Supporting global company Data Office and relevant product content
To Apply:
Must be highly proficient in Microsoft Excel, in addition to other Microsoft Office software and Internet Explorer
Requires ability to learn internal database and software systems
Demonstrates a strong sense of urgency in solving problems
Ensures time, resources and actions are focused on priorities that contribute to meeting business goals and objectives
Possesses effective communication, interpersonal and teamwork skills
Demonstrates accuracy, thoroughness and monitors own work to ensure quality; implements a variety of cross-checking approaches and mechanisms
