Our client is a long-established engineering company based in Birmingham, with a fabulous heritage spanning over 50 years. Renowned for the exceptional quality of the components they produce, their client base consists of many prestigious names in the field of Automotive Manufacturing and other sectors.

As part of their growth plans moving forward they are looking to strengthen their team through the recruitment of 2 CNC Operators to assist in the production of a variety of components using Milling Machines and Lathes

Key duties include:

Responsible for regular maintenance of machines & equipment

Responsible for ensuring route cards are filled in correctly.

Responsible for area housekeeping.

Operating general production equipment and machinery.

Forming components using fly presses and forming fixtures.

Carrying out general assembly of components.

Inspecting and measuring components accurately using precision measuring equipment

Read and interpreting engineering drawings and documents.

Participating in continuous improvement projects and attend training courses where applicable.

Hours of work:

Day shift                                                                                

7.00am-4.00pm Monday –Thursday           

7.00am-12.00pm Friday
