Business Development Manager - long term hire (industrial cleaning equipment) - West Midlands

Business Development Manager c£50k home-based + company vehicle

A highly prosperous industrial cleaning equipment provider is seeking an experienced BDM from the capital equipment hire industry, ideally, you would have sold to the following sectors: construction, FM, marine, etc.

The role is not about seeking quick-win opportunities but fostering long-term agreements with national and local companies. There is a good account base that can be tapped for a new business but it is also hoped that your expertise will spot other opportunities and grow new accounts. There is also a healthy amount of qualified leads being brought in by the marketing team that needs maximising upon, and it is also hoped that you may develop the business into new sectors for the company. 

There is a company vehicle provided, this may be a company car or van (suitable for demonstrating stock) depending on preference.

Experience required:

• it is essential you are from a sales background rich in plant and machinery hire (not short term rental)
• experience in selling to target sectors such as FM, construction, marine, etc.
• sales negotiator and deal closer
• Co-work with marketing
