Business Development Executive

My client is seeking a keen business developer to talk to current and new customers. You will be fully trained in the product portfolio so that you can discuss in detail suitable products with customers. Its an important and varied role to the company and you will liaise with both the marketing and sales teams on a daily basis.

Duties will include:

  • Business develop with lists of customers - current and new to discuss the products and increase brand awareness
  • Build a business development pipeline - nurture and develop prospects who may not have a current requirement but may in the future
  • Establish a need with a customer and discuss in detail with a member of the sales team so that they can progress this to fruition
  • Work with marketing - generating brand recognition, assist and follow up on marketing campaigns
  • Report to the Marketing Director on how successful the campaigns have been and provide reports
  • Up to date product knowledge and be an advocate for the brand
  • Support the Marketing Department with ad hoc duties
  • Work to performance metrics

To be considered for this role:

  • You need to be a positive member of the team
  • Able to talk to people at all levels from Directors through to Small Business Owners 
  • B2b sales opportunist - able to spot potential either for a sale or future potential
  • Interest in Marketing and how this can help you achieve your goals

My client is based in beautiful offices at Fort Dunlop with free car parking. Monday to Friday 8.30 - 5.30pm with a Friday finish of 4.30pm. Auto-enrolment pension(after 3 months) employer 3 - 8%. Private Medical, Cash Benefit Plan, Health Insurance, 2 x Death in Service, 25 days holiday rising to 30 after length of service + 8 bank holidays.
