An exciting new Sales position is being created by this major European manufacturer & distributor of Fasteners, Fastening solutions & adhesives. Solutions are supplied into many market sectors from telecomms & Electrical to agricultural, automotive & furniture manufacture. Expansion of the UK sales operation has lead to the need to recruit an experienced and self motivated Technical Sales / Business Development Manager.
This new role will be responsible for the central swathe of England, spanning from East Midlands across to Wales. Managing all existing customers & developing business in both traditional & new market sectors, with the emphasis on selling quality solutions rather than on price. You will target a wide cross section of industries and sell at all levels from engineer to board level.
The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of selling solutions into a wide range of manufacturing industries, not limited to those mentioned above. Specific experience within fasteners would be of interest, but is by no means essential - experience across a range of manufacturers is far more important. Naturally you will be self motivated & able to manage your time & resources effectively.
This could be an office or home based position, so location is very flexible within East & West Midlands including Staffordshire, Shropshire, Warwickshire, Derbyshire, Leicestershire & Worcestershire.
A negotiable package is available for the successful candidate & will include company car, bonus, laptop, mobile & benefits package.

An outstanding career development opportunity for an intelligent & focused Graduate with this growing & profitable designer & manufacturer of electronic systems for OEMs in many sectors from Automotive to Medical & White goods.
Initially based in the UK, you will work within the Sales team contributing to business development activities, market research, account management, project management & technical sales. Subsequently you will have the opportunity to be seconded to the Detroit office in the USA for 12 months to further develop your skills & experience before returning to an Account Manager role in the UK. This secondment will be full expensed including accommodation etc.
We are seeking an exceptional candidate, with a technical, scientific, engineering or business degree and several years work experience - this could be in technical sales, project management, purchasing, account management, customer services or similar, providing you with experience of communicating effectively at all levels. Expanding UK company, part of a European market leading manufacturer of a very wide range of engineered / industrial components & products which are supplied into a wide cross section of OEMs.
Working from a home base, the Technical Sales Engineer will manage all aspects of sales into an existing customer base, providing solutions at all levels from design engineer to buyer & up to board level. You will be involved in the full sales process, but with full technical back up available both at head office & in the field if required. There will be an element of business development but this is driven from head office & there is no cold calling involved. You will benefit from company & product training at European manufacturing plants including Italy & Germany.
The ideal candidate will have a good appreciation of engineering through either an apprenticeship, hands on experience or more formal qualifications. You will have sales experience into OEMs / manufacturers, equal consideration will be given to candidates with field sales experience, or internal sales experience looking for a first move into field sales.
This is a home based role so flexible on location including West Midlands, Warwickshire, Oxfordshire, Gloucestershire, Bristol & similar areas.

The Company
Our client, the UK subsidiary of a long established International Manufacturing Group, is seeking a Sales Executive to sell their range of surface finishing products (capital equipment & consumables) throughout the Midlands region.
The Role
Reporting to the UK Sales Manager you will be responsible for business development activities, demonstrating the products to prospective clients (manufacturing businesses) and closing for the business. Thereafter you will be responsible for ensuring 'consumables' targets are achieved, building a long term 'supply' relationship with each customer.
The Candidate
To apply for this role, first and foremost you should have a proven track record of new business sales achievement. Clearly preference will be given to those candidates whose experience dovetails closest to the markets that our client serves and the products that they supply. However, don't be put off applying if you feel you have the drive, ambition, hunger and dynamism to make a success of the role. As you will be predominantly home based you should be highly self motivated and by nature thrive on autonomy and accountability.
The PackageThis represents an excellent career development opportunity. A basic salary of 25,000 to 30,000 is on offer plus commission taking the OTE to 30,000 to 35,000, plus company vehicle which is fitted out with demonstration equipment enabling you to maximise your selling time when in front of clients.

This role focuses into medium to large sized fleets, managing sales to existing clients & developing new avenues for business growth in both existing & new market segments.
