Graduate Sales Account Manager

c18 - 22,000 basic, 25 - 30,000 realistic 1st year earnings (35 - 40k OTE 2nd year) + Excellent prospects.
A long established, entrepreneurial & innovative technology & online services business, based in central Birmingham, is looking to further expand their sales team. Promotion & expansion is creating the need to recruit the next potential Account Manager. As a market leading business they offer excellent training, a fantastic team environment & realistic prospects for personal progression.
As a Sales Executive you will be selling a range of online / cloud based products & consultancy services into a wide cross section of business customers from blue chip corporate to local authority & government. You will be Account Managing a portfolio of existing customers and also working closely with the marketing team to bring new customers on board. Their solutions are technically led, so you will need to either be comfortable with software & solutions, or be able to demonstrate the ability to pick this up & get excited about it.
The ideal candidate will be of graduate calibre with some post-grad or 'during studies' work experience (such as a placement year), although the business sector is open - if you already have an interest in technology you'll pick things up quicker & progress sooner. Realistic ambition, self motivation & a genuine desire to learn are more important criteria. You'll be a strong team player with first class communication skills, both written & oral, and have a professional approach to developing your career.
Excellent initial & on-going training, very realistic first year earnings (which will rise significantly in 6 to 12 months), and strong future prospects to either a field based Account Manager role, or to a more senior internal role if that's your preference.

Business Development Manager - Data Centre solutions - Greater East Midlands
I am recruiting a Business Development Manager for a leading provider of data centre design, build solutions and maintenance service agreements. The role will cover either Greater East Midlands or the South West depending upon the location of the suitable applicant.
The Role
Reporting to the Sales Director this role is purely and solely responsible for new Business Development on a B2B level.
As an experienced Business Development Manager within the field of data centre solutions and I.T. services, you will use your knowledge to provide companies with the right solution to their needs within an agreed budget.
As some clients may be incorporating your solutions in partnership with expanding or moving premises, your proposal will range from design, supply, installation and maintenance support contracts.
Key Responsibilities

  Business Development - you will be required to develop new clients through direct new business development
  Planning - You will be required to developing a dynamic, robust and structured sales plan that will ensure exposure of the company to new contacts and markets with your region
  Marketing - You will be encouraged to utilize the company's existing marketing tools to develop discrete and holistic marketing campaigns to work alongside your sales plan.
  Targets - You will have a determined and uncompromising approach to reaching targets of circa 600k.
Successful candidates will need to demonstrate experience of the above on their CV when applying for the role
Essential requirements
  Full UK driving license
  Be able to cover either the Greater East Midlands or the South West as your area
  A proven sales background within the data centre, I.T services or facilities management solutions industry
  A technical understanding and at least two years experience selling the following to businesses:
oUPS systems
oComputer and telecommunications storage systems
oFire detection systems
oData cable storage solutions
oSwitch gear
oTemperature control systems
oPreventative maintenance packages
oService agreements
  The ability to articulate data centre solutions within the mediums of both CAD and written proposals.
  Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  The ability to create a sustainable business opportunity pipeline.
  Dedicated and hardworking with a proven ability to deliver against targets.

Telemarketing Executive - 16-18,000 basic + commission (open ended)
Our client, a long estabished, specialist consultancy business, has a requirement for a Telemarketing Executive, based from their West Midlands offices (Halesowen), to sell to the UK public (Government, Police & NHS) and private sectors.
Working within the Business Development department the role will involve outbound cold & warm sales calls to identify potential opportunities within new & existing clients, also to establish whether existing contacts are still in post, appropriate to the companys services, and that contact details are correct, updating the CRM system as appropriate. This role has the potential to be fast tracked into a field based Sales Consultant role.
To apply for this role you should have a proven track record in Telesales, Data Cleansing, Cold-calling and/or Appointment setting. You should have strong communication skills and be highly self-motivated. Experience in a services sector is preferred but not essential. Experience of using a CRM system is essential. Whilst this is not a technical sales role, experience in an IT Security environment or IT in general may be an advantage but not essential. Finally you should be ambitious by nature, friendly, results driven and highly self-motivated.
In return you will receive excellent training, a competitive basic salary in the region of 16-18,000 plus uncapped commission of 1% on all converted leads. Additional benefits include 28 days holiday plus 8 bank holidays & pension (after 12 months service).
