Our client, a leading designer & manufacturer of bespoke, engineered components & systems, is seeking a UK Sales Engineer for their OEM division.
Reporting into the Sales Director, the successful candidate will be responsible for selling to both existing & new customers, with the emphasis being very much on low to medium volume customers within the automotive, construction and capital plant sectors.
To apply for this role you should have a proven track record of achievement within a similar, technically orientated, sales role. Your experiences of penetrating complex OEMs will ideally have been gained within the above mentioned sectors.
A very good package is on offer, including a basic salary of c35,000 plus car plus benefits.

An exciting new position being created by expansion, responsible for sales of a range of electro-mechanical products including motion control, actuators, robotic components, solenoids, position measuring etc.
Sales are made to a wide cross section of manufacturers including medical device, patient handling, industrial handling, process control & materials handling manufacturers.
Planned expansion, on the back of excellent results, has created the need to recruit a Technical Sales Engineer to take responsibility for sales to a number of key accounts currently managed by the Directors, whilst adding new customers through new business development. This is a technical application based sell & requires the ability to liaise & negotiate at all levels from design engineer to purchasing.
The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical / electro-mechanical engineering background & a proven track record of technical sales into manufacturers - specific product experience is not a pre-requisite as full training will be available. You are likely to be accustomed to working autonomously & ideally remotely from the office base.

An outstanding career position for a Mechanical Engineering Graduate (or similar) to join this market leading designer & manufacturer of state of the art plant & equipment for the Power Generation, Oil & Gas & Marine Propulsion industries worldwide.
This is a technically based engineering sales position, projects values can range up to 1-2m & each application is designed specifically to application. The majority of customers are overseas, so you will be selling on a worldwide basis and will certainly get the opportunity for overseas travel as part of the role.
The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical engineering background & technical sales experience - preference would be for either project or plant / equipment / solutions based. Experience of the Power Generation, Oil & Gas or Marine sectors would be advantageous, but is by no means essential. There is also potential to consider an Engineering Graduate with some industrial / technical experience who is looking to progress into a Technical Sales position.
Excellent career development prospects with this International organisation. Naturally full specific training will be given. The remuneration package is negotiable & will be eligible for the company bonus scheme (up to 20%) after qualifying period.
