Process Instrumentation Sales Engineer - Field Based
Our client, a leading distributor to the manufacturing sector is seeking an experienced Sales Engineer to lead their process instrumentation division within the East and West Midlands area.As this is a technology driven marketplace, you will be required to possess a high level of up to date technical knowledge of process instrumentation, how it is used with manufacturing and process plants along with a strong sales head.
Essentially you will be reviewing clients process lines, and recommend the relevant process instrumentation required to improve productivity, efficiency, performance and energy consumption.
You will need to possess the following skills and knowledge:
  A technical knowledge of flow meters, pressure gauges, signal barriers, pipe adapters and associated process instrumentation (predominantly within the field of liquids and gasses)
  A minimum of 2 years experience as a field sales person within this sector
  Ideally an Engineering degree or associated qualifications
  Ability to review process lines and provide solid technical advice
  Ability to follow up on technical advice provided to close the sale
The successful applicant must have a proven track record in providing technical advice and winning business to achieve targets.
A starting salary up to 50k + bonus + company car + laptop + mobile + health care and company pension scheme.

You will be utilising the latest .NET technologies in an agile environment. You will need to be self-motivated, willing to work hard and be able to fit in well with a small team. You will be involved in the full life cycle of application development from documenting requirements, producing designs, building, and on-going technical support.
Primary Responsibilities
Designing, architecting and developing existing and new features for their flagship product
Crafting code to a high standard that is efficient, maintainable and consistent
Collaborating with the development team, testers, project leads and clients, to ensure solutions put in place are to a high standard and fit for purpose
Mentoring & supporting junior members of the development team through your day to day work
Supporting new development processes & procedures
Skills and Experience
A computer science or related degree with a high level of computer science content or equivalent qualification/industry experience
Commercial experience with ASP.NET/C# or similar languages
Knowledge and experience in using Microsoft Visual Studio
Experience with web technologies (i.e. HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Web Services)
Knowledge and experience in using Microsoft SQL Server
Passion for creating great applications and solving customer problems
Keenness to learn new skills and technologies
Must have excellent interpersonal and communications skills.
Must have the ability to work both independently as well as within a team environment.
Experience with HTML5, LESS, bootstrap, JQuery or other JavaScript Frameworks
Ability to design and create beautiful, mobile friendly UIs
Knowledge or experience of working in an agile sprint environment
Experience working with SQL Server Reporting Services
Experience of creating installers with WIX
Experience with GIT, Jira, BitBucket, Bamboo
On offer is a basic salary between 40-45,000 + benefits

Business Development Executive - UK Wide
30-38,000 basic salary + commission + car & benefits
Our client, an international manufacturer of CNC capital equipment for the sheet metal sector, is seeking a Business Development Executive to cover the UK, as part of their ongoing expansion.
Reporting to the M.D, the successful candidate will be responsible for promoting the companys wide range of CNC Machinery to a combination of manufacturing companies and steel stockholders. This role relies heavily on long term relationship building and as such there is a 50/50 mix of existing and new clients.
To apply for this role you will preferably (although not essential) possess experience of selling CNC capital equipment / outsourced machining / sheet metal services / or sheet steel / plate
Specific training will be provided, however you will need a fair degree of resilience, self-motivation and personal drive, as the role will involve travelling around the UK introducing yourself to existing and new clients. An engineering background (educational or vocational) would be preferred, however this is not absolutely essential, as long as you are technically-minded, and have experience from one of the industry sectors above.
