The company are market leaders in their field, working with many large construction contractors to help provide aggregates required.
You will be trained in all aspects of the services the company provides and progress to be an important part of the Sales & Marketing team.
Initially your role will be identifying opportunities via Glenigans, getting involved with the bids and tenders process, supporting the external sales and logistics team as its vital you learn every aspect of the business - whilst providing a very level of customer service to new and existing customers.
We are seeking a career minded, intelligent & articulate individual, with strong values & common sense. You will need to be comfortable communicating with customers at all levels, developing relationships & working as part of a highly motivated team.
Your experience to date will demonstrate good communication skills, so you could have a background in sales, customer service, purchasing, or project management etc. You'll be naturally outgoing, competitive and understand the need to invest time & effort to progress your career.
This could be an ideal 1st / 2nd role after graduating, or you may have completed a year placement as part of your degree course and be looking to put that experience into good use in your career.
The nature of this company's services require you to be an excellent communicator, passionate and enthusiastic and an entrepreneurial approach would be highly beneficial.
Once you are fully fledged as a Sales Executive a lot of your time will be networking so an outgoing confident approach is highly desirable.

Key duties will include:
Account Management (85%)
Attend account management meetings and record details in CRM
Maintain regular client contact by telephone, email and client visits
Liaise with relevant Team Members to ensure customer service is provided in accordance with their individual SLAs
Maintain the companys relationships with our existing clients
Business Development (15%)
Undertake new business prospecting including cold calling both face to face and by telephone

The role:
Reporting to the Managing Director, your typical week will be spent 1 day in the office arranging appointments, sorting out your paperwork & sales administration and 4 days out on the road, visiting clients and pitching for new business. In an average week you will be expected to attend 20 appointments, most of which will be self-generated, but leads will also be provided by the companys marketing department and field based technicians.
The candidate:
To apply for this role you should ideally have a minimum of 2 years b2b field sales experience.
You will have excellent communication & presentation skills, be highly self-motivated and be comfortable in a new business, target driven environment. You must have excellent organisational skills, able to work to a weekly sales plan.

Our client is a leading provider of innovative drink & snack vending solutions throughout the Midlands area, their client base including such prestigious names as Rolls Royce & The NEC. Their customer retention rate of 95% is unprecedented in this sector and testament to the high quality service they provide.
As part of their ongoing expansion they are looking to recruit an additional Business Development Manager for the West Midlands region, who will be targeted on securing 4 new orders per month, which, based on current conversion ratios, will be achieved by attending between 6-8 sales appointments per week.
