Graduate Mechanical Sales Engineer - Automated Material Handling - Derbyshire area - up to 35k + Benefits
Overview:
A rapidly expanding supplier of Automated Material Handling equipment is seeking a Graduate Mechanical Sales Engineer to build upon their market share.
Depending upon your experience and qualifications, you will be provided with the training required to provide industries throughout the UK with integrated materials handling solutions. Your client base will include warehouse, ecommerce, distribution and logistics within the pharmaceutical, food & drink manufacturing sector.
The Person:
We are looking to recruit a dynamic, self-motivated Mechanical Engineer with 2 years sales experience of capital equipment and machinery on a B2B basis.
The Role:
  Sourcing new business whilst supporting the sales team in servicing existing customers.
  Respond to technical website and telephone enquiries.
  Visit existing and potential customer sites to discuss technical issues, and conduct appropriate site surveys
  Preparation of detailed costing's/quotations for each project
  Maintain good on-going communications with customers and potential customers
  Produce sales and marketing material in-conjunction with the Marketing team
  Attend exhibitions to provide a technical presence
  Liaise with project team and client post order
Personal requirements:
  Engineering knowledge and experience of selling Engineering products on a B2B basis
  Experience of Microsoft Office with a good working knowledge of AutoCAD LT (2D mechanical layout design) would be ideal.
  A good level of English/Mathematics together with written and verbal communication skills
  Ability to work within a small dedicated team
  Confidence in negotiating situations with clients
  Full, clean, driving licence is essential.

Package:
Due to the technical aspect of this role, up to 35K basic + benefits is on offer depending upon your engineering qualifications and experience

A long established, entrepreneurial & innovative technology & online services business, based in central Birmingham, is looking to further expand their sales team. Promotion & expansion is creating the need to recruit the next potential Account Managers. As a market leading business they offer excellent training, a fantastic team environment & realistic prospects for personal progression.
As a Sales Executive you will be selling a range of online / cloud based products & consultancy services into a wide cross section of business customers from blue chip corporate to local authority & government. You will be Account Managing a portfolio of existing customers and also working closely with the marketing team to bring new customers on board. Their solutions are technically led, so you will need to either be comfortable with software & solutions, or be able to demonstrate the ability to pick this up & get excited about it.
The ideal candidate will be of graduate calibre with some post-grad or 'during studies' work experience (such as a placement year), although the business sector is open - if you already have an interest in technology you'll pick things up quicker & progress sooner. Realistic ambition, self motivation & a genuine desire to learn are more important criteria. You'll be a strong team player with first class communication skills, both written & oral, and have a professional approach to developing your career.
Excellent initial & on-going training, very realistic first year earnings (which will rise significantly in 6 to 12 months), and strong future prospects to either a field based Account Manager role, or to a more senior internal role if that's your preference.
