Sales Executive / Graduate Trainee Sales Executive
c22,000 basic + Bonus, Company car, benefits package & excellent career prospects
An exciting career development role with this UK market leading supplier of a range of equipment & services used in the transport, bus & coach, and commercial vehicle fleet markets. Business expansion has created the need to recruit an additional Sales Executive who will receive first class training & personal development to enable progression to an Area Sales Manager role. This could be an ideal opportunity for someone with internal sales experience who has the ambition & drive to progress to field sales, or a Graduate looking to embark on a career in business to business sales.
You will receive excellent initial & on-going training in both the products & sales, to enable you to progress to fully managing a sales area within 6 - 12 months, developing existing relationships, following up marketing leads, attending exhibitions / trade shows & constantly being aware of business development opportunities. With a very dominant market share they have a strong reputation for quality & service which means the sales process is focused into relationship building.
The ideal candidate will either be of Graduate calibre & have some commercial work experience, or a couple of years business to business sales experience. This could be in a sales role, or equally in other areas if you can demonstrate a real desire to succeed in sales - a previous recruit to the company at this level is now the highest performing Sales Manager, having joined them with 1 year post graduate experience, in a re-active sales role. He was hungry, ambitious, prepared to work hard to achieve results & most importantly of all had a positive and realistic approach to developing his career. A long established, entrepreneurial & innovative technology & online services business, based in central Birmingham, is looking to further expand their sales team. Promotion & expansion is creating the need to recruit the next potential Account Manager. As a market leading business they offer excellent training, a fantastic team environment & realistic prospects for personal progression.
As a Sales Executive you will be selling a range of online / cloud based products & consultancy services into a wide cross section of business customers from blue chip corporate to local authority & government. You will be Account Managing a portfolio of existing customers and also working closely with the marketing team to bring new customers on board. Their solutions are technically led, so you will need to either be comfortable with software & solutions, or be able to demonstrate the ability to pick this up & get excited about it.
The ideal candidate will be of graduate calibre with some post-grad or 'during studies' work experience (such as a placement year), although the business sector is open - if you already have an interest in technology you'll pick things up quicker & progress sooner. Realistic ambition, self motivation & a genuine desire to learn are more important criteria. You'll be a strong team player with first class communication skills, both written & oral, and have a professional approach to developing your career.
Excellent initial & on-going training, very realistic first year earnings (which will rise significantly in 6 to 12 months), and strong future prospects to either a field based Account Manager role, or to a more senior internal role if that's your preference.

Junior Pricing Analyst - IT or Maths Graduate
16-18,000 basic
We are seeking a Junior Pricing Analyst for one of Halesowens largest employers. This is a junior role working within their IT team and would be an ideal first step for a Computer Sciences/IT or even Mathematics graduate.
This is an analytical role encompassing administrative tasks and the potential to develop pricing processes.
Your primary duty will be assembling, sorting and deciphering information into database queries or data fields for computer analysis
Importing, cleaning, transforming, validating or modelling data with the purpose of understanding and reaching conclusions from the data for decision making purposes
Creating presentations or detailed reports of data
Monitoring pricing activities on a regular basis
Analysing incoming data, identifying any areas of concern that may need to be reconciled and liaising with key contacts within the business to ensure data integrity
Providing guidance & tools for all pricing/costing activities to internal customers (national sales team, business managers, category managers)
To apply for this role you need to be IT Literate, including a good understanding of Microsoft Excel. Some experience of SQL would be beneficial but is not essential. You should have excellent attention to detail.
