My client is a well established publishing house producing industry specific magazines and journals to the healthcare sector. They are seeking a new recruit to join their team to learn the ropes and develop their b2b sales skills. This is a fantastic role if you are someone who enjoys developing client relationships and would like to be part of growing this fascinating and exciting publication.
Duties will include:
Generating new business opportunities for the publication (1 print & digital and 1 digital)
Developing accounts so that you get to know the decision makers wants and needs
Discussing and selling a marketing package to suit their budget which could include: digital advertising space; print advertising; thought leadership articles; event sponsorship; delegate attendance
Negotiating fees
Upsell and cross sell to your account portfolio

Product Sales Representative - Sheet Metal Components
My client who is a leading manufacturer of folded steel products are seeking an experienced field based Sales Engineer to proactively identify and secure new accounts whilst developing existing customers
The role will cover the whole of the UK, specialising in selling a specific product manufactured from formed sheet steel.
As such the ideal candidate will come from the steel stockholding, or sheet steel processing sector
Key Activities:
To create and build effective relationships with new and existing accounts
To run through technical drawings with the clients to identify the products end usage and provide technical advice on the best solution available
To negotiate with each customer to secure repeat orders where possible
To proactively sell the core range of products, as well as discuss bespoke one off products to be manufactured
Carry out a contract review on all sales orders to ensure they fit all necessary criteria.
Obtain appropriate written confirmation from customers of any new or revised specifications, and liaise with manufacturing as required
Liaise with Sales Co-ordinator to ensure that price lists / quotations are current and updated as necessary.
Appropriately investigate reject material or quality issues to reach a suitable conclusion
Produce order statistic reports as and when required.
Continue in your personal development to maximize performance in the role
Experience/Skills
Engineering Qualification to a minimum HNC level or equivalent.
Knowledge of steel processing, grades and specifications.
Ideally 5 years experience in an external sales position.
Product and process knowledge.
Account planning.
A proven sales record
Business acumen.
A positive can-do attitude.
Benefits
Up to 30k basic (34k OTE based on circa 1k bonus per quarter) + company car

Export Coordinator
An exciting Export Coordinator role with a well-known & growing range of branded FMCG products, primarily centred around the Health & Beauty products sector. Our client supplies multiple retail, wholesale & export accounts within grocery, high street and department stores.
The focus of this role is to provide export knowledge, implement processes & procedures and to provide the support required for the growth of the companys export business.
Key duties will include:
Implementing the correct certification and legal documents such as: letter of authorisation, health/hygiene certificates/ GMP certificates, certificate of origin/compliance/formulation, product registration, EN71 certificates, NDA, frame formulations, power of attorney and free sale certificates
Export knowledge of EU and ROW export requirements
Processing of orders with specific delivery notes, packing lists and invoices as required
To offer a high level of customer care, with excellent communication in general, specifically order acknowledgement, out of stocks, order despatch and order delivery date
Knowledge of territory regulation standards e.g. FDA/SFDA/ASEAN
Custom procedures and tariffs including knowledge of incoterms, insurance requirements, commodity codes and VAT obligations
Shipping requirements - pallet types, packaging restrictions and documentation
Transport coordination and required paperwork
Obtaining Bill of lading/proof of shipment and proof of delivery
Key skills/attributes sought:

Export knowledge - solid grounding in export administration & documentation
Excellent use of excel and word
Strong analytical skills
Ability & confidence to make & prioritise decisions
Knowledge of NAV and POWER BI would be an advantage but not essential
Excellent telephone, email & face to face communication skills
Ability to work under own initiative as well as part of a team, and prioritise workload
Dynamic individual able to operate & thrive in a fast moving environment.
German speaker would be an advantage (but not essential)

The Role
Reporting to the Head of Internal Sales, the role will be to carry out outbound sales activity, generating interest and leads as part of the wider sales team. A key part of this role will be the operational support of the external sales team (3 Field based), assisting with closing orders and providing office support with the creation of sales paperwork and ensuring the CRM database is maintained with accurate records.
In addition, the candidate will be required to assist the Marketing Manager with lead generation, exhibitions and the follow up to campaign data.
Key Responsibilities
  Contacting the field sales teams current customer database to generate ongoing awareness and identify requirements for our products and services.
  Booking face to face appointments for the filed sales team where possible with current clients on the database.
  Being a key part of the sales cycle, assisting colleagues in winning and closing business
  Maintaining CRM database records (currently Salesforce), ensuring data is accurately recorded and managed.
  Working closely with the regional sales managers, assisting them in winning business.
  Producing and following up sales quotes and leads accordingly, helping to resolve any issues and effectively close business.
  Assisting the Marketing team:
oAssisting with identifying specific markets for campaigns, assisting with the delivery of targeted mailshots (email), attending Exhibitions to gain leads, follow up on leads generated form the campaigns to add new clients to the field sales teams database
  Holiday and absence cover for colleagues (Internal Sales & Admin).
The Candidate
  Ideally you will be a graduate with 12 months experience within a B2B sales or customer services environment
  A confident self-starter, able to spot new areas of opportunity, and expand upon them accordingly
  Experience of providing sales support
  You will be a competent I.T user (Salesforce or associated CRM system)
  Customer service champion
  Energetic, enthusiastic and seeking an internal sales role within a fast paced environment
Salary
