We are seeking a 1st Line IT Support Technician for one of Halesowens largest employers. This is a junior role working as part of their IT team, and whilst experience within a helpdesk role would be advantageous, it is not essential as full training will be given to the right candidate.
This is a 1st Line helpdesk role where the ability to liaise with end-users in a personable manner is essential.
Candidates must possess a good base technical knowledge of modern PC hardware and software (including Google Apps, Microsoft Office, Microsoft Windows, Microsoft Windows Server); as well as a genuine willingness to help others, and the initiative to solve problems competently within a hectic business environment.
You should be ambitious, well presented, with good communication skills and a good sense of humour.
A commencing basic salary in the region of 16,000 is on offer.

Our client, a leading, multi-branch supplier of engineering components & consumables such as Bearings, Power Transmission, Fluid Power and Lubricants is seeking an External Salesperson for the West Midlands region, based out of their Halesowen head office.
The successful candidate will be responsible for maximising profitable sales from existing customers whilst continually exploring new business opportunities.
Specific duties will include:
Present and sell company products and services to current and potential customers
Prepare action plans and schedules to identify specific targets and to project the number of contacts to be made
Follow up on new leads and referrals resulting from field activity
Identify sales prospects and contact these and other accounts as assigned
Prepare presentations, proposals and sales contracts
Develop and maintain sales materials and current product knowledge
Establish and maintain current client and potential client relationships
Prepare paperwork to activate and maintain contact services
Manage account services through quality checks and other follow-up
Identify and resolve client concerns
Prepare a variety of status reports, including activity, closings, follow-up and adherence to goals.
Communicate new product and service opportunities, special developments, information or feedback gathered through field activity to your Line Manager
Co-ordinate staff to accomplish the work required to close sales
Develop and implement special sales activities to reduce stock
Participate in marketing events such as seminars, trade shows etc.

Good knowledge of the engineering sector and familiarity with engineering consumables would naturally be advantageous. Candidates should be highly self-motivated and target driven, with excellent presentation skills.

Our client, a long established & successful Birmingham based software house is seeking a 1st Line Senior Software Support Analyst due to their continued global expansion.
The Software Support Analyst is the main point of call for all Software Support issues, ensuring that all issues are logged and that all customers' receive professional support at all times.
Working hours are 7.5 hours per day, Monday to Friday, to be worked between 8:30am-17:30pm. Also, 1 week in 4 will be spent providing night support, which can be completed from home if preferred. The night shift will be Monday to Thursday only (no Friday or weekends) and working hours are 7.5 hours worked between 20:30pm-05:00am.
Specific duties will include:
Answering and logging calls of all Customer incidents.
Providing technical support remotely or by phone & email.
Liaising with colleagues to provide quick & effective resolutions for Customer Requests & Issues.
Ensure customers are kept up to date with issues reported.
Ensure all calls and relevant Customer documentation is kept up to date.
Trouble shoot software issues in an effort to achieve an accurate resolution as soon as possible.
Maintain a flexible approach to work allocation and react to changes in resource allocation.
Ensure the Support Desk is covered at all times when taking breaks/lunch.
Ensure that all agreed SLAs are met where possible and to escalate when not.
Keep a list of all current tasks and manage with regard to priorities and timescales.
Skills & Experience:
The successful candidate will have excellent communications skills, an enthusiastic personality and will be extremely customer orientated (good Microsoft Office experience as a minimum). Previous experience in a Software Support role is desirable (but not essential) along with the ability to gather & impart information in a positive way. Experience of resolving customer issues in a timely & professional manner would be highly beneficial.
On offer is a basic salary up to 30000 + night shift allowance + benefits.

Key responsibilities:
Identify new prospects and follow up leads from the reservations team to develop into business

Experience & Qualifications:
You will be Customer Focused with sound commercial Awareness
Able to plan, organise and communicate results
Strong problem solving abilities
Ideally possess experience in a hotel or serviced apartment sales role
Driving License essential
