Marketing Assistant - 16-18,000 basic salary - Wolverhampton
Our client, a highly successful business, is looking to recruit a Marketing Assistant to join their head office marketing team based in Wolverhampton. This would suit an ambitious individual with maybe a minimum 6 months post-grad/post-education experience. Genuine career opportunities are available as the Marketing team continues to grow.
Specific duties will include:
Assisting the Marketing Executives and Marketing Manager in all key marketing activities.
Assisting in the implementation of marketing activity including the running of reports, vetting of data and collation of results.
Assisting in key Management Reporting and the collation of information from all UK sites for Group Management.
Assisting in the running of group incentives.
Assisting in the running and issuing of customer CRM letters alongside the Database Co-ordinator, including full cover during holiday periods.
Arranging and monitoring Mystery Shop activity.
Assisting in database cleansing.
Assisting in social media postings, blog article creation and website management.
Assisting in the ordering of merchandising goods.
Assisting in liaison with external creative agencies.
On offer is a commencing basic salary of between 16-18,000 per annum.

My client is a leading distributor and are seeking an experienced, forward thinking and proactive Demand Planner to join their team.
You will be responsible for all forecasting activities for both customers and product ranges. Creating and maintaining forecasts for customers, BI and forecast information gathered from sales, marketing, retailer demand planning teams etc. You will also be data analysing and reviewing sales data.
Duties will include:
  Forecast generation
  Building an excellent working relationship with customers demand planning teams
  Customers forecasts are received and captured
  PO management including placing POs with brands and managing stock received against orders placed
  Achieving companies stocking holding KPI
  Manage stock allocation and inventory process
  NPD estimations
  Access customer online portals
Skills required:
  Essential that you have Demand Planning expertise ideally within FMCG
  Highly analytical - manipulate, analyse and interpret data
  MS Excel advanced
  Experience of working for a UK retailer /distributor is highly desirable

Working as part of an established team, the successful candidate will be responsible for achieving sales, margin & growth targets within a designated portfolio of Grocer/DIY accounts, ably supported by the sales team of course.

  Experience using Adobe InDesign. Experience with other Adobe applications will be an advantage.
