The Company
Our client, one of the UK's leading consultancy firms, providing innovative, outsourcing solutions to clients across both the private and public sectors, is seeking a talented professional to provide marketing support to their Bid Writing team.
The Role
The successful candidate will be responsible for providing bid-writing support to the contracting team, the overall objective being to improve conversion ratios resulting in an increase in New Business wins. Your copy-writing and creative skills will also be put to good use with regards to the company's web-site and other marketing initiatives as deemed appropriate.
The Candidate
To apply for this role you should have excellent copy-writing skills, coupled with a strong creative/marketing pedigree, ideally gained within a consultancy, B2B or professional services environment. Furthermore you should have excellent organisational skills, business acumen in abundance and be highly self motivated.
The Package
On offer is a basic salary in the region of 30-35,000 per annum plus benefits.

A successful Creative Communications Consultancy, based in Birmingham City Centre, which boasts an impressive client list, is seeking a Business Development Executive as part of their ongoing expansion plans, to sell their Web Design services.
The successful candidate will be responsible for new business development throughout the Midlands region and as far south as London, targeting and calling upon a wide cross section of prospective customers ranging from Local Authorities, to Blue Chip Companies. Once the account is secured it will then be your responsibility to manage the account and maximise revenue/profit opportunities from it.
To apply for this role you must have a minimum of 2 years 'new business' sales experience either from a telemarketing background or from a field sales role and to have a desire to work within this 'creative' field'. You will have experience of cold call appointment making and have the confidence and initiative to 'pop into' establishments en-route to a client to see if you can source new business! You do not need experience of the sector but you do need plenty of enthusiasm, drive and ambition and be used to achieving and exceeding set targets and working to KPI's. Furthermore, you need to have a good sense of humour. The person who gets this job will understand that every 'no' is one step closer to getting a 'yes'.

Based within the existing sales team you will be encouraged to understand the sales process and how your role works to support the sales team set up.
