Technical Sales Engineer

Our client, a long established & leading manufacturer & supplier of hardware to the commercial vehicle bodybuilder sector is seeking a Technical Sales Engineer as part of their ongoing expansion.
Reporting into the Sales Director, the successful candidate will be responsible for developing new & established commercial vehicle bodybuilder accounts, covering a geographic area encompassing the M4 in the South and the Scottish border in the North.
You will be expected to attend the offices once per week/fortnight so this is predominantly a home/field based role. You should ideally live within an hours commute of the companys head-office in the West Midlands.
To apply for this role you will ideally have a demonstrable track record within a similar environment, selling technical solutions/products into the commercial vehicle bodybuilder sector..
On offer is a very competitive package including a basic salary of 35,000, possibly more for the ideal person, lucrative quarterly bonus scheme which is open ended and should realise a minimum 10,000 per annum, fully expensed company car, a very generous contributory pension scheme, private medical and death in service cover.

The Role
Reporting to the Head of Internal Sales, the role will be to carry out administrative support to both the field based and internal sales teams.
You will carry out day to day administrative functions, including order entry, database administration and effective co-ordination of order paperwork. This is an integral role as the information carried processed will becomes key to the efficient delivery of goods and services to the customer base.

Key Responsibilities
