My client are a well-established and respected business consultancy that provides software to mid-market companies. They are seeking a highly proactive BDM with a proven track record, to help develop and grow new business sales. You will be supported to a strong internal sales team and marketing team.

Duties will include:
  Prospect and Identify new clients
  Achieve new business target by initiating and managing the sales cycle through to close and support through to implementation
  Discover client needs and put together proposals and pricing
  Provide monthly sales forecasts
  Present new solutions and services to existing clients until which time they are handed over to the Account Management team
  70% of your time will be with clients, face to face
  Typical sales targets will be 50- 60k GP per quarter
To be considered for this role:
  Proven track record in business development/ new business sales within software sales
  Experience of producing written quotations
  Communicating and presenting at a senior level
  Sales forecasting
  Well-presented and excellent communication skills
  Strong negotiation and influencing skills
  Numerate and commercially aware

Telemarketing Executive - 16-18,000 basic + commission (open ended)
Our client, a long estabished, specialist consultancy business, has a requirement for a Telemarketing Executive, based from their West Midlands offices (Halesowen), to sell to the UK public (Government, Police & NHS) and private sectors.
Working within the Business Development department the role will involve outbound cold & warm sales calls to identify potential opportunities within new & existing clients, also to establish whether existing contacts are still in post, appropriate to the companys services, and that contact details are correct, updating the CRM system as appropriate. This role has the potential to be fast tracked into a field based Sales Consultant role.
To apply for this role you should have a proven track record in Telesales, Data Cleansing, Cold-calling and/or Appointment setting. You should have strong communication skills and be highly self-motivated. Experience in a services sector is preferred but not essential. Experience of using a CRM system is essential. Whilst this is not a technical sales role, experience in an IT Security environment or IT in general may be an advantage but not essential. Finally you should be ambitious by nature, friendly, results driven and highly self-motivated.
In return you will receive excellent training, a competitive basic salary in the region of 16-18,000 plus uncapped commission of 1% on all converted leads. Additional benefits include 28 days holiday plus 8 bank holidays & pension (after 12 months service).

An exciting opportunity for experienced Sales Executives with this international media & publishing group. They have a wide range of titles, websites, events & media offerings covering a multitude of sectors including music, photography, consumer technology, science, computing, sports, computer gaming & entertainment.
Following recent acquisitions they are setting up a new team at their Midlands office. The Sales team deliver multi-platform advertising & marketing solutions across print, digital, tablet, mobile, video and events. Theyre tasked with delivering engaging creative solutions, responding to briefs and proactively pitching for new business, combining their strong market understanding with well developed client relationship skills.
The ideal candidates will have a track record in business to business sales in a consultative, solution based environment. Experience in media, advertising or publishing will be advantageous but is by no means essential. More important is a positive attitude, great team & communication skills and the ability to develop productive business relationships.
