Salary
Great starting basic salary (18-22k)

The role:
Generate new business - We work with market leading firms all over the world (Leading Lawyers, Accountants, Consultants etc), a big part of your role will be to build off this platform and attract new clients.
Utilise an intelligent sales approach - that are proven to work.
Working across a broad range of products - We offer a diverse range of editorial and profile raising products that enable our clients to communicate with readers effectively
Provide exceptional customer service - Whether we are working with brand new clients, or nurturing existing relationships, we want to ensure all of our customers get great customer service.

As Sales Executive you will sell cross-platform advertising & marketing solutions in print & online, across a portfolio of consumer brands. You'll develop close relationships with existing customers to maximise revenues, whilst working with the Sales Manager to identify & pitch for new business opportunities. A long established, entrepreneurial & innovative technology & online services business, based in central Birmingham, is looking to further expand their sales team. One of the current Internal Sales team is being promoted to a field sales Account Manager role, creating the need to recruit the next potential Account Manager. As a market leading business they offer excellent training, a fantastic team environment & realistic prospects for personal progression.
As an Internal Sales Executive you will be selling a range of online / cloud based products & services into a wide cross section of business customers from blue chip corporate to local authority & government. You will be Account Managing a portfolio of existing customers and also working closely with the marketing team to bring new customers on board. Their solutions are technically led, so you will need to be comfortable with software & solutions, or be able to demonstrate the ability to pick this up & get excited about it.
The ideal candidate will be of graduate calibre with some post-grad or 'during studies' work experience, although the business sector is open - if you have an interest in technology you'll pick things up quicker & progress sooner. Realistic ambition, self motivation & a genuine desire to learn are more important criteria. You'll be a strong team player with first class communication skills, both written & oral, and have a professional approach to developing your career.
Excellent initial & on-going training, very realistic first year earnings (which will rise significantly in 6 to 12 months), and strong future prospects to either a field based Account Manager role, or to a more senior internal role if that's your preference.

This is a face to face sales role, with your week typically being split 2 days out meeting & pitching to clients and the remainder in the office completing sales proposals, administration and follow-ups. A research & appointment making team will provide you with a fantastic stream of prospects, enabling you to focus solely on meeting with HR Directors/Managers, CEOs & FDs and introducing a world leading employee engagement solution that enables organisations to connect with their most important assets - their employees. Typical sales cycle is around 6 months and you will be signing clients up on 3 or 5 year contracts.

This is a home based position, working for a successful consultancy on a full time basis, looking after a portfolio of clients within the South Midlands & South East. You will be working within a broad range of sectors, helping clients to develop and implement health & safety solutions as well as provide advice and deliver training courses.
Duties will include:
  Implement tailored Health & Safety Management systems
  Conduct site inspections and produce detailed visit reports and action plans within timescales defined within the SLA
  Review customers action plans regularly and seek further opportunities where shortfalls can be supported
  Provide 1:1 support and advice on a range of H&S related issues, ensuring that legislative impacts are reflected in documentation
  Deliver a range of H&S training courses, both on and off site, including- NEBOSH, IOSH, CIEH, Manual Handling, Fire Awareness etc
  Deliver specific talks on the regulations - providing managers with the skills to assess against them
  Undertake risk assessments directly and prepare reports, or provide advice for the customer to enable them to undertake a risk assessment correctly
  Provide support or customer guidance for Occupational Health assessments
  Work with the sales team by attending meetings with prospective and new customers
To be considered for this role:
  Excellent communication skills - both oral and written
  Experience in designing and Delivering specific training
  You will be an experienced H&S Specialist, ideally possessing a NEBOSH Diploma, GradIOSH or MIIRSM with evidence of working towards Chartered Member CMIOSH Status
  Self-starter and comfortable working from home
