Web DeveloperSuccessful creative media agency are looking to expand their digital media team.As such they are looking for a web developer who is experienced in the following areas:
• Back-end programming languages: ASP.NET (C# & VB.NET), Classic ASP, PHP
• Front-end programming languages: Solid JavaScript knowledge is essential, (X)HTML and CSS (the HTML and CSS is required but it's worth noting that we have a front-end developer who will usually handle this part of a project)
• Database: SQL Server 2000/2005+, MySQL
• Developing both small and large scale "Content Management Systems".
• Developing secure (SSL) e-commerce systems that plug into different payment systems (such as Barclays, WorldPay etc)
The technical skills that are not required but would be to the candidates 'advantage' are:
• Experience using Design Patterns
• Experience using Object-Oriented Programming
• Experience using the JSON data format
• AJAX (both hand-coded with JavaScript and using the ASP.NET AJAX library)
• Flash and ActionScript 2/3
• LINQ
• W3C standards compliancy
• Basic Server Maintenance (we have both Windows and Macintosh servers in-house for storing our project source files and would like the developer to be able to keep these maintained)
