Trade Marketing Manager
30,000 basic + benefits
Our client, based West Midlands, a long established & leading supplier of FMCG products to customers such as Tesco, ASDA, BHS & Sainsbury's, is seeking a Trade Marketing Manager, with immediate effect, for an initial 9 month maternity cover contract.
Key duties will include:
Analysis of Market, Consumer & Sales Data - EPOS data analysis, reviewing sales into each retailer and sharing this on a weekly basis with key stakeholders within the business; use online market & consumer data sources to keep the business informed of new trends, insights and company mergers etc; ensure competitor pricing is updated by continually reading & analysing newspapers, business news, trade press, category information, latest thinking in retailing, planning, consumer behaviour etc.
Prepare compelling and highly effective presentations - using images, charts, graphs and an enviable command of the English Language to produce 'brand' & 'channel' Power Point presentations that will help the sales team make a positive impact in front of customers.
POS & Advertising - develop innovative POS materials that will make the company & brand stand out from the crowd; raise the company's profile through attractive, informative and image building advertising; undertake cost effective, insightful and memorable media planning that will get the brand seen in all the right places.
Finding new customers - use your imagination & creatively to identify & approach prospective new customers. Keep your eyes & ears open at all times.
To apply for this role you will be an accomplished Trade Marketing Manager with at least 3 years experience in a similar role. You will be great at analysis and equally talented at preparing focused & highly effective presentations. You will be tactically aware and strategically acute.
We are seeking a dynamic, driven individual with a strong work ethic and exceptionally high levels of self motivation.
A basic salary in the region of 30,000 is on offer plus benefits.
