Telesales Supervisor
25,000 basic + 7200 com p/a can earn more upcapped
The Company
Our client, the UK subsidiary of one of America's largest industrial supply companies, with a turnover in excess of $2billion, is looking to recruit a Telesales Supervisor based at their West Midlands premises.
The Role
Reporting to the National Sales Manager the successful candidate will be responsible for managing a team of upto 14 telesales executives selling industrial supplies & components into existing Engineering & Manufacturing customers throughout the UK, contributing to an annual sales target of in excess of 1m.
Ultimately, the role of the Telesales Supervisor will be to ensure that his or her team achieve their annual sales & profit targets. Specific duties will include:
Recruit, coach & support the team to deliver a consistent high performance.
Conduct monthly appraisals with each team member to ensure goal & development objectives are being met.
Promote the value of teamwork including working with other functional areas and creating an open & honest working environment, leading by example at all times.
Generate sales performance reports and present to the Senior Management team.
The Candidate
To apply for this role you should match the majority of the following competencies:
Proven track record within a sales supervisory role - essential.
Proven track record of previous telephone outbound or field sales experience - essential.
Excellent presentation & analytical skills - including first class written and oral communication.
Competent in the daily use of Excel, PowerPoint, Word & Outlook.
