An excellent Account Manager / Business Development role with a specialist producer of high performance adhesives, sealants & application solutions that are supplied into a wide cross section of industries including construction products, general engineering, industrial, wood working etc. They achieved a record year in 2009 & have already exceeded this in 2010 through a combination of technical excellence, first class customer service and strong relationship building. Continuous investment in new technology and research & development enables them to offer leading edge solutions to customer's bonding requirements.
This is an autonomous Account Manager role, taking responsibility for developing business with all existing customers in the area, developing new projects & applications and on-going business growth. You will also be involved in business development, targeting new sectors & new customers in established sectors. There is ample technical & marketing support, & most business growth has been achieved through recommendations.
We are seeking a pro-active Account Manager who has a proven track record of growing business with existing accounts & developing new routes to market. This is a hands-on role that requires a degree of technical aptitude for product demonstrations, although formal technical or engineering qualifications are not a pre-requisite. The ideal candidate will have experience in a technical sales role, selling into a wide cross section of industries, at all levels from shop floor & engineer to board room. You will relish the chance to fully manage your sales area, having the drive & ambition to continue the company's impressive sales growth.
The remuneration package is negotiable, demonstrating the company's desire to recruit a high calibre individual, but will include good basic salary, open ended bonus structure & choice of company car such as Audi A4 / Mercedes C-Class.
The sales area covers the M1 corridor from Leicester to the South East, so as this is a home based position (laptop, broadband etc supplied) the flexible location could be Leicester, Coventry, Northamptonshire, Bedfordshire, Northampton, Milton Keynes, Kettering & similar.
