Technical Sales Executive
30,000 basic + commission OTE 35,000 + vehicle
The Company
Our client, the UK subsidiary of a long established International Manufacturing Group, is seeking a Sales Executive to sell their range of surface finishing products, both capital equipment & abrasive consumables.
The Role
Reporting to the Sales Manager you will be responsible for business development activities, demonstrating products and closing the sale, dealing with prospective clients from such sectors as manufacturing, fabrication, foundry and stone. Thereafter you will be responsible for ensuring 'consumables' targets are achieved, building a long term 'supply' relationship with each customer.
Full training will be provided.
The Candidate
To apply for this role, you should have a proven track record of new business sales achievement. Clearly preference will be given to those candidates with experience of demonstrating power tools & abrasives, however, don't be put off applying if you feel you have the drive, ambition, hunger and dynamism to make a success of the role.
You will be predominantly home based, attending meetings with your Sales Manager as and when required. There is flexibility with regards to your exact location although we are particularly interested in candidates that live in the South/South West, East Midlands or North West regions.
You will be highly self motivated and by nature thrive on autonomy and accountability. Your relationship building skills should be exemplary.
The Package
This represents an excellent career development opportunity. A basic salary of 30,000 is on offer plus commission taking the OTE to 35,000, plus company vehicle which is fitted out with demonstration equipment enabling you to maximise your selling time when in front of clients.
