Description:
Our client, a West Midlands based, market leading supplier of specialist fixings and fasteners to the Oil, Gas, Petrochemical & Power Generation sectors, seeks an internally based Special Bolting Salesperson as part of their ongoing expansion plans.
Reporting to the Sales Director the successful candidate will be responsible for taking special bolting enquiries from customers and colleagues via phone, fax, post and e-mail, and quoting in accordance with the customer's requirements, ensuring that all enquiries are responded to in line with the customers timeframe.
Specific duties include: evaluating most economic route for manufacture; providing costing for raw materials; providing costing of machining/processes; purchasing goods to satisfy customers orders; assisting the company buyer on stock purchasing; assisting in the development and maintenance of approved sub contractors.
Our client invites applications from two very different types of candidates for this role. On the one hand they are interested in hearing from Technical Sales professionals with a background in their sector, and on the other hand, recent Graduates, in a technical discipline, who have a strong desire to persue a sales career.
Recent graduates can expect a basic salary in the 20-22,000 salary bracket wheras experienced candidates can expect a salary in the range 25-30,000.
