Software Support Co-ordinator
20,000 basic + benefits
Our client, a long established & successful Birmingham based software house is seeking a Software Support Coordinator due to their continued global expansion.
The focus of the role will be to deliver elements of an enhanced support strategy to existing customers, whilst bridging the communication of front facing support on the Support Team with that of the Training Team. The office based support will be very customer orientated and will require excellent communication skills, both verbally and written, and will consist of the following responsibilities:
System Analysis - To analyse and prepare System Audits for existing clients, allowing a basis for recommendations and further enhanced support opportunities.
Report Building - To create reports as requested by the customers - this will require an excellent understanding of the requirements of the customer, good knowledge of the system and a SQL database. Reports are commonly written using Excel & MSQuery, and a good knowledge of these would be required.
Virtual Training Sessions - To deliver ad-hoc training sessions of approximately 2 hours to the customer, demonstrating the required elements from the system.
Tutorials - To organise and deliver agreed Learning Tutorials - These will be a recorded session focussing on various elements for the system.
Face to Face Training - Travel to the customer will be required and classroom style training or 1:1 sessions will be required. The position will be mostly office based, however there will be an element of Face to Face training delivery on site, which will require travel to various locations throughout the UK.
Skills & Experience:
The successful candidate must have excellent communications skills, and will be extremely customer orientated. Previous experience in a customer facing support role is essential along with the ability to impart with information in a positive way. An analytical mind would be advantageous and would require the ability to identify the positive elements of each scenario and present opportunities whilst following a process of questioning. Previous training experience a distinct advantage.
On offer is a basic salary of c20,000 basic salary + benefits.
