Software Business Development Manager
West Midlands
35k-40k basic; 90k ote + car allowance/lap top/mobile.
The Company
Our client, providers of software solutions that manage business risk & compliance, and one of the fastest growing technology companies in EMEA, serves a global client base, spanning in excess of 70 countries, from their offices in the UK (Midlands) and USA.
As part of their ongoing expansion plans they are seeking a Business Development Manager to join their successful team.
The Role
Reporting to the Sales Director you will be responsible for sales to a pre-defined vertical sector throughout the UK. You will benefit from a stream of qualified appointments but will also be expected to compliment this with your own strategic, new business activities. An average order is in the region of 60k and typically you will be targetted on 500k annual sales, which consists of licencing fee's, implementation & training cost and annual hosting & maintenance/support.
The Candidate
To apply for this role you should have a proven & demonstrable track record in Software sales, ideally with an average order value in the 40k-100k bracket. You should be used to a complex, long sales cycle involving multiple meetings at Director/Key Stakeholder level. You should be naturally people centric, highly self motivated and success driven.
Career prospects are excellent as the company continues to expand.
The Package
Basic salary - 35-40k; OTE - 90k (open ended) + car/car allowance + laptop, mobile. A salary in excess of 100,000 per annum is highly achievement with a number of team members already earning at this level.
