Senior Marketing Executive - Professional Services - c38,000 - London
My client is seeking:
A highly motivated individual with an ability to work within a team and on their own initiative. The successful candidate is likely to have 5-6 years experience working in a marketing role covering all aspects of the marketing mix. You will need to be able to effectively communicate with multiple stakeholders internally and across the business at all levels. You will have a strong track record in delivering campaigns and activity with measureable and demonstrable results and outcomes.
The candidate will work directly with key stakeholders that covers Central Government, Local Public Services, Infrastructure and Healthcare. Government or third sector experience is advantageous and an understanding of Governments function and the systemic reform that it is undergoing is essential.
Qualifications, knowledge and skills required:
  Marketing/Business studies/Politics graduate or professional with at least 5 years business experience and CIM Advanced Certificate
  Sector marketing experience and a strong interest in the Government sector
  Good project planning capabilities
  Excellent project management and logistics skills
  Excellent writing and editing skills
  Networking and influencing capability
  Commercial acumen and negotiating skills
  Some analytical skills
  Good brand management skills
  Excellent measurement capture and reporting skills
The role:
This role is focussed on developing and delivering the marketing plans for our Government and Public Sector group and will focus specifically on central and local government, health and infrastructure. There will be strong links into our global centre involving liaison and integration with global teams and plans as well was working with the UK related sectors such as energy and real estate. It will also encompass some wider support for general campaigns and responsibility for some cross-marketing support activity such as measurement.
Key responsibilities include:
  Management and implementation of the marketing plans for the sector
  Production and distribution of issue based thought leadership campaigns
  Management of sponsorships for conferences and events
  Management of third party relationships with industry bodies
  Budget control, including measurement and return on investment
  Event development and execution
  Online campaigns, web site, use of digital/social media
  Liaison with global marketing teams
General elements to the role:
  Embed the brand both internally and externally, ensuring that the positioning is expressed explicitly and the visual and verbal identity is executed in all outputs.
  Ensure consistency of message into the market
  Manage the company profile across all third party relationships
  Keep business informed of competitor marketing activity
  Work with the business to devise new programmes to meet market needs
  Work with the business to support business plan objectives
