Senior Marketing Executive - Maternity
up to 28,000 - 12 month maternity cover
Senior Marketing Executive (12 month maternity cover) - 28,000 Leeds
What my client is seeking:
Based in their Leeds office they are looking for a highly motivated individual with an ability to work within a team and on their own initiative. The successful candidate will have experience working in a marketing role covering all aspects of the marketing mix. You will need to be able to effectively communicate with multiple stakeholders internally and across the business at all levels. And have a strong track record in delivering campaigns and activity with measureable and demonstrable results and outcomes.
The role:
Working with the North region marketing manager (based in Manchester), the senior marketing executive is responsible for the execution and project management of a range of marketing activities to deliver their marketing plan for the North East.
Key responsibilities include:
Implementation of the marketing plans for the region
Event development and execution
Drafting marketing materials
Tracking relationship development activity and keeping data up-to-date
Managing client targeting initiatives and distribution of issue based thought leadership campaigns
Management of sponsorships for conferences and events
Co-ordinating third party relationships with industry bodies
Budget control, including measurement and return on investment
Online campaigns, web site, use of digital/social media
Qualifications, knowledge and skills required:
Marketing/business studies graduate or professional with at least 3 years marketing experience and be CIM qualified (or equivalent)
Familiar with working in a large company culture
Able to communicate and influence at all levels
Good written and oral communication skills
Excellent project management skills
Excellent event management experience
Good marketing communications skills
Experience of utilising a marketing database
High level of accuracy and attention to detail
Good understanding of performance measurement: ability to track/monitor project process against plan
