Description:
Our client, a long established and successful International Management Consultancy firm focusing on worldwide clients in a variety of sectors including Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, Utilities, Mining & Process Industries has an immediate requirement for a Senior Events Manager based at their Birmingham office.
Key responsibilities will include:
Event venues - researching, identifying, visiting and contracting of event venues across the EMEA region.
Speaker & sponsor logistics - management and execution of speaker and sponsor logistics for each event.
Main point of contact for operational and day-to-day activities relating to event logistics.
Identifying and working with vendors across the EMEA region.
Relationship management and partner expectation management.
Operational project management.
Budget management and spend monitoring.
Design & collation of event marketing materials.
Assist in the acquisition of speakers for high profile events.
Personal attributes sought:
At least 5 years experience of running large & small scale events, from 50 to 1500+ delegates, and 25,000 to 1,000,000 budgets.
Organised, enthusiastic and professional with excellent client facing skills & exemplary attention to detail.
Proven ability to manage budgets efficiently.
Capable of multi-tasking and prioritising coupled with experience of managing a small team.
Willing and able to travel throughout EMEA.
The Package
On offer is a very competitive basic salary in the region of 35-40,000 per annum, plus benefits.
