Senior Business Development Manager - c35k + bonus + car allowance - software
My client is a Birmingham based software vendor with an enviable pedigree. They are seeking a strong Business Development Manager to be involved with setting up a small sales team. Ultimately you will have responsibility a Business Development Executive.
Generally you will be responsible for generating revenue by selling IT Security Solutions primarily through face-to-face contact with current and new prospects. This will involve:- Following up on leads provided to you by marketing
- Managing some existing accounts
- Participating in cold calling during vendor / technology focus days
- Arranging meetings with prospects - Demonstrating IT Security products- Moving opportunities through the sales pipeline through close contact with the prospect- Producing all relevant documentation for the sale
- Preparing presentations for prospects
- Working with prospects to develop business case and ROI Analysis documents
- Producing Sales Proposals and Pricing Schedules
- Liaising with the implementation team to define prospect requirements
- Communicating to the implementation team and the designated account manager client expectations and anticipated return on investment - Conversion of the prospect into a client
