Senior Account Manager - c35,000 - Creative Agency
Swindale Parks are proud to represent one of the foremost Creative Agencies in the UK. They are going through a period of expansion and are seeking a Senior Account Manager to be part of the Client Services Department where you will manage projects from start to finish and help co-ordinate the creative and production teams to come up with and deliver inspiring solutions to their clients communication needs. This role also will be potentially be London based, helping them develop key clients locally.
Key Responsibilities
  Project Management - Profit responsibility, managing your own projects & clients including brief taking, budget control and reconciliation working to agreed margin targets, inspiring creativity, quote preparation, client and supplier liaison and ensuring brilliance in delivery via your assembled team
  Objective setting and measurement of ROI (training given)
  Relationship Management - Building and developing relationships with new and existing clients. Effective communication through all stages in project life including negotiating with clients and suppliers.
  Managing internal resources - briefing the video and graphics departments, holding project creative meetings and debrief meetings
  New Business - involvement in putting together pitches, ensuring they meet the client requirements and are in line with the brand. Being on pitch team as and when necessary. In particular they see a key responsibility for this job being to grow a business stream within Barclays. They are an approved supplier for Barclays and this account does require development.
  Business development - responsible for business development work within your clients including compiling business development plans and reporting on progress against these
  Line management of Production Executive
Person Specification
This role is not for the faint-hearted. They are looking for someone who is ambitious and keen to develop as there will be opportunities to grow within our organisation.
They are looking for someone with the following skills and experience:
  At least 6 years event production experience ideally with experience in an agency environment. You will have held previous Account Manager roles - or possibly at an even higher level.
  Experience of delivering medium to large leadership conferences from end to end. Ideally with involvement in content development as well as AV production and logistics.
  Experience of working with corporate clients and renowned brands and communicating at Senior CEO and Exec level
  Internal Comms experience
  Excellent client handling skills - ability to have a presence in front of a client and be a great communicator at all levels
  Outstanding pitching and presentation skills
  Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
  Ability to work under pressure to deadlines whilst delivering numerous events on time and on budget
  Outstanding financial management skills - you will have full financial responsibility for your projects
  Ambitious, enthusiastic and highly motivated. The desire for progression within the company
  Flexibility is absolutely essential, travel will be a large part of the role as you will be working on a number of London-based accounts and will also need to spend time in at the Midlands office
  You may also be required to travel to events depending on the client. This could mean working away from home on occasion in the UK, Europe and other international destinations
