Expanding & profitable manufacturer & supplier of a wide range of products into the construction sector has an exciting new opportunity for a Sales Office Manager, based at their Midlands offices. As part of an international group they are well respected in their field and offer excellent levels of service & support to customers throughout the UK.
The new Sales Office Manager role is being created to further improve customer service levels & to supervise the day to day organisation & running of a busy sales office. This is a hands on role, leading a small team in sales administration whilst also managing your own group of key clients. You will be the first point of call for customers, liaising with the field sales team, despatch, technical & accounts teams to ensure customer expectations are met & exceeded.
The role requires someone with excellent organisational skills and previous experience in a sales office management or supervisory position in a business to business environment. Specific product or industry sector knowledge is not important, as your skills in managing people & delivering excellent customer service are the most important factors, together with a positive 'can-do' attitude. You will, of course, be IT literate and have strong problem solving & multi-tasking skills.
