An exciting & challenging new Sales & Marketing Manager position is being created by this market leading provider of a comprehensive range of training & career development services, focused primarily into the Leisure, Health & Fitness, & Hospitality sectors, but increasingly into many other business areas. They have shown tremendous growth over the last 15 years both organically & through acquisition, and have fully structured plans to accelerate this growth through 2011. To help achieve this target they are seeking a highly ambitious & successful Business to Business Sales Professional with a proven track record of developing business at senior levels through the management & development of a pro-active Sales Team.
You will be responsible for leading, managing & developing the New Business & Field Sales Teams (c25 people UK wide), developing the strategy for business development, setting & managing KPIs, metrics & performance review. There's also an internally based Telesales team to manage & develop.
You'll contribute fully to the growth & development of the business through market analysis, major account development, exhibitions etc, driving profitable sales revenue through your team.
We are seeking a high energy, pro-active Sales Manager with a real flair for people development - you'll be a natural leader from the front, inspiring your sales team to emulate your achievements & develop their own sales skills. This will be combined with excellent commercial awareness, astute business skills & a thorough understanding of the objectives of revenue growth & profit development. You are most likely to come from a business to business service environment, specific industry sector experience is not a pre-requisite. You will, of course, be fully IT literate including the use of CRM systems.
