Technical Sales Executive - West Bromwich - c28,000 + bonus + Car
My client is a progressive company that offer an installation, maintenance, refurbish and modernise lifting equipment. Within their industry they have a superior name and a lot of loyal accounts and are highly regarded for the services that they offer. Due to the nature of the role you are expected to have experience, knowledge or qualifications within a Mechanical or Production Engineering background.
They are seeking a Sales professional that has a proven track record in B2B sales and have experience of dealing with Technical Managers, Architects, Building Inspectors and Operations Directors.
Part of your time will be in the field meeting your customers and developing new business, and time spent in the office will consist of preparing quotes and arranging appointments exisiting and new customers.
The ideal candidate should be experienced in technical, solution based sales, should be able to develop both existing accounts and increase significant levels of new business, fully computer literate and hold a UK driving licence.
Key responsibilites include:
- calling qualified leads to identify opportunities
- Building strong relationships with customers and providing a consultative approach
- Handling and making sales calls from and to existing customers
- Accounting managing new and small to medium customers, to ensure they are receiving the best service, whilst upselling/increasing revenue
- Resolving technical queries where possible and liaising with the technical department
