Sales Engineer - North Birmingham
I am recruiting a Sales Engineer for a leading HVAC solutions provider based near North Birmingham to cover the whole of the UK
The Role
Reporting to the Sales Director this role is responsible for Business development and senior account management thought out the UK.
Providing market leading evaporative cooling systems, utilising both Direct and Indirect air flow. The roles principal aim is to widen our opportunity base, while continuing our current conversion rate, thus providing a significant opportunity for a sales professional to be very successful.
Key Responsibilities

  Business Development - you will be required to develop new clients, while maximizing on current accounts
  Planning - You will be assisted in developing a dynamic, robust and structured sales plan that will ensure exposure of the company to new contacts and markets.
  Marketing - You will be encouraged to utilize the company's existing marketing tools to develop discrete and holistic marketing campaigns to work alongside your sales plan.
  Targets - You will have a determined and uncompromising approach to reaching targets, for the first year this will be a GM Target of 250k.
These key areas of responsibility are the outlines of the position. You will of course be expected to assist in other areas of the business where deemed necessary to ensure the smooth running and efficiencies are met to maximise the opportunities within the various businesses in the group.
The Candidate
Essential
  A proven sales background within the HVAC market
  A technical understanding of the practicalities of installation of HVACs systems and associated infrastructure
  The ability to articulate HVAC solutions within the mediums of both CAD and written proposals.
  Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  The ability to create a sustainable business opportunity pipeline.
  Dedicated and hardworking with a proven ability to deliver against targets.
Advantage
  Previous experience of selling HVAC equipment into Telcos Data Centres and vertical markets of Education and Local Authorities
  Understanding of basic Electrical or Mechanical Technology
Benefits dependent on experience
  Basic of up to 30k allowing a potential OTE Package of 56.7k as outlined below
  OTE Commission 20k (based on 250k GM)
  4,200.00 car allowance
  1% of margin OTE Bonus.
  20 days holiday growing to 25 days with service.
  All tools required to undertake the job will be provided including laptops and mobile phone.
