An exciting opportunity for an experienced & talented business to business Sales Manager / Director, to manage an experienced & motivated team for this long established & successful publishing, media & exhibitions organisation.
You will lead a team of 8 including exhibition managers, account managers & sales executives with the primary objective of maximising revenue, profitability & brand value from the publications & exhibitions, which are focused into a specific market sector. This includes establishing strategy, cost efficiencies, people management, developing & managing client relationships & identifying new revenue streams. Working closely with other teams including Marketing & Operations to ensure event success, market & competitor awareness and on going sales. Building lasting relationships within the industry to identify trends and new business opportunities ahead of the competition.
The successful candidate will have a proven track record of Sales Team Management in a business to business environment - preferably related to media, exhibitions, or events. You'll be focused, pro-active & dynamic in leadership style, driven by a desire to excel & motivate your team to achieve. Strong financial acumen will be coupled with a strategic approach, whilst remaining hands on & leading from the front.
