Our client is an international market leader in the field of compressed air management, supplying equipment & services into a wide cross section of industries including Aerospace & Defence, FM, Food & Drink, Petrochemical & Pharmaceutical. As part of their ongoing expansion they have an immediate requirement for a Sales Co-ordinator to help expand their number of active customers, with a view to maximising the sale of capital & parts, including on-line sales.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Understand the full range of products & services that the company offer.
Answer the phone in a professional and timely manner & record details
Assist customers with their enquiries & needs
Discuss with customers the range of products & services the company offer.
Provide quotations when required for the products & services offered.
Process credit card payments as necessary.
Follow up on quotations
Process orders, these orders may be taken over the phone, through fax or e-mail, in the post or from external sales people.
Progress orders for customers and keep them aware when delays to an order are known, including liaising with suppliers & supply chain.
Ensure carriage cost is communicated clearly to customers.
Implementation of strategies to meet the company objectives.
Develop the working relationship with the companys parts fulfilment providers & suppliers
Maintain an effective working relationship with the managers & staff of all sections throughout the company.
Provide a high quality of service to all customers.
Provide cover for other Sales Coordinators in their absence.

The Candidate:
Excellent interpersonal, sales and negotiation skills
Full understanding of the sales cycle
Experience in office based internal sales role
Commercial sales background
Technical knowledge of compressors/blowers/rotating equipment would be ideal but not essential
Full telesales experience
Time Management, ability to juggle conflicting demands
Accuracy and attention to detail
IT skills, ideally to include, Word, Excel, Outlook, Access and Microsoft Dynamics AX
Planning and organisational ability
Team Player
On offer is a basic salary in the region of 20,000 plus benefits
The role is based in modern offices with free on-site parking.
