Product Manager

This leading distributor of automotive parts is seeking a Product Manager to join their marketing team, based from their Warwickshire office.
Responsibilities include
Pricing - including margin expectations, pricing maintenance and administration
Product Range Management - ensuring the best possible ranges are available at all distribution sites
Account Management - manage and handle supplier accounts to ensure a fast and accurate transfer of data and commercial policies
Product File Management - ensuring the company product mainframe is fully up to date with various pricing levels, obsolescence, supersessions, etc.
Product Launches - taking new product launches to market - including internal communications, pricing, inventory, distribution and marketing activity
Marketing Communication - assist the marketing team in the production of marketing copy and literature relating to products, including internal communications to keep sales force and Branch Managers up to date.
The ideal candidate will already have gained a good level of experience in a product marketing or product management role and will have ideally previously managed large product ranges - ideally within the automotive aftermarket marketplace, however, training in specific product areas will be given. Preferably, you'll also have experience of supplier account management, competent writing skills and proven experience of pricing, and, in addition, you'll be commercially astute, flexible and possess excellent MS Office skills.
