A new Product Manager / Market Manager role being created by this world wide manufacturing group. This division designs & manufactures products & components used across a wide range of industries including Aerospace, Automotive, Oil & Gas, Energy & many more. As part of their continued expansion they have created this role to take responsibility for product & market management throughout the UK & across Europe.
The role is responsible for managing the existing product portfolio and maximising growth potential through optimisation and extension of all product lines across Europe. You will ensure a market relevant product offering with market appropriate pricing. Working closely with European sales teams, new product design & customer service to manage the introduction of new products & the optimal selection of products for key applications across all market sectors. You will also manage a small team based in Europe so must be flexible to travel & be comfortable in a multi-cultural environment.
The ideal candidate will have product management experience within technical / engineered products & exposure to manufacturing industries across Europe - ideally aerospace, automotive, oil & gas or energy. A technical degree will be advantageous but is not essential if you have experience within engineering sectors and can demonstrate an understanding of product applications in technical environments - specific product sector experience is not required. A second European language would be useful but is not a pre-requisite. You will have strong communication skills & be adept at managing multiple projects simultaneously, working with many cross-functional teams to achieve your objectives.
